Caravan of Souls has arrived, Sufi Message Series Plan

Dear Sulūk Press Community,

This is such an exciting time for the press! Advance copies of Caravan of Souls have just arrived. We will ship to all the patient pre-orderers next week. We have also just received proofs of Pir Zia Inayat Khan’s new book Immortality: A Traveler’s Guide, which will be ready to ship by early April.

Review of Immortality: A Traveler’s Guide: “In this wonderfully wise and generous book, Pir Zia takes us through three dimensions of the human psyche: Hazrat Inayat Khan’s original unveiling of the journey of the human soul from its inception to its ultimate destiny, followed by Pir Zia’s own poetic rendering of the stages of this journey in exquisitely moving images—‘the universe is dappled with starlight and shadow’—and finally offering us contemplative  practices in order to understand and realize these images in our own personal lives.” — Jules Cashford, author of The Moon: Myth and Image

The Complete Sufi Message Series

We have received new shipments of the Sufi Magazines from the Nekbakht Foundation, and are pleased to make available three volumes of magazine collections from the early years of the Sufi Movement, including the most recently published Sufi Record. From 1915 to 1936 a series of quarterly magazines were published in London for the early community of followers of Hazrat Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan. Peer through this fascinating window into the early years of the community in these three collections of original magazine facsimiles.

We continue to run a 50% off sale of most previous Complete Works volumes. to celebrate the release of 1926 Vol III and Vol IV of The Complete Works published by the Nekbakht Foundation. The new volumes include lectures from the last Summer School in Suresnes and from Inayat Khan’s visit to the United States, two poems given to Sakina Furnée, a wedding speech, and Inayat Khan’s obituary.
